TheBachelorGirl.com Turns 1!
Actually, it’s more like a year, a month and several days, since my first post was on 11 July 2005. I delayed writing about it until I could get a Chocolat Deep Dark Classic Chocolate Cake to celebrate it with. Polished off half of it myself, I can proudly say.
Thanks to Manuel Viloria I would like to take this opportunity to thank Manuel Viloria for setting up this site and introducing me to the wonders of posting.
As I told him, I’m having such a grand time reigniting past interests such as writing and photography, and I find myself being interested in new things like podcasting and animation, two more creative outlets if ever.
About Me Page When My Pics at the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards Preview Party 2006 garnered a lot of visits, I thought that was a bit strange, and then I realized I usually focused on other people and events, which was what interested me more than taking pictures of myself.
However, remembering that Manuel told me that visitors would trust me more if I put a pic of myself in the site, and since I’m constantly explaining about the site anyway, I wrote an About Me page about a month ago.
TheBachelorGirl.com Statistics The number of site visitors are growing, quite tremendously, I am pleased to report. My site is ending up more on the search engines, which is how, I think, some of you discovered this.
I would love it if more of you do leave a short note on how you got here, and, your thoughts of course. I thank you all in advance.
There was a strong upsurge of visits from the Samsters (fans of Sam Concepcion) last month, which caused the numbers to go up really high. Thanks guys.
The Kalachuchi Surprise I’m still bemused by the popularity of the Kalachuchi Flower because I thought it’s one post that was going to end up in oblivion, but I’ve underestimated the flower enthusiasts of the world. It’s good to know people love nature so.
The Elorde Boxing Gym Punch I’m gleeful that the Elorde Boxing Gym post is constantly the most read article for several months now, because, originally, it only got a decent number of visits when it first came out, but I always thought it was very interesting and informative, and I’m glad other people found it eventually, and became a source of additional information for boxing enthusiasts.
I’m planning an Elorde Boxing Gym Branches post. That’s going to take quite a while though because of the traveling involved. I won’t feature all the branches, but at least the ones mentioned already in the comments.
Thanks So Much Everybody This site is definitely an endeavor that I’m going to continue, and I would like to thank you all again for being a part of it.

Hi Lorna!
Just browsed through your site again and it’s really fascinating.
Hope your site can be a venue to more happenings in and out the metro..
Guys, WE should be patronizing this site
Let me know where we can send you the other donut flavors we have
BTW, you might also be interested to try the yummiest roast calf in town… WHOLLY COW!!! They have a store in Salcedo Market every Saturday and they also cater. They recently catered a POLO cup at Manila Polo Club.
Another suggestion, you might wanna have a link on your website so that your site can be endorsed to other people’s emails… Actually, I’m not really a blogger and I don’t even chat…but just thought that it would be a great idea so we can spread the word around!
