Cafeno is my quiet refuge. I love to take my book and have a quiet cup of coffee with cheese and bread while I read. San Juan bustles and bangs outside but the cool quiet interior soothes my spirit.

Cafeno in San Juan Batangas is a beautiful cafe in a restored old Spanish home. The food is delicious, cheap and has wonderful presentation. It reminded me of Havana and the San Antonio Riverwalk Cafe. I recommend it as a meeting place for beach weekenders.
