Embassy Cafe Excellent Service (Eye)
I relegated the Embassy Cafe beside the Embassy Club at The Fort Taguig as one of those high end restaurants with super high prices. A meeting held there showed me how wrong I was. Not only were the prices in the mid-range (Php 25-350) and quite affordable, but I pleasantly found out that the WiFi was for free and the staff exceptionally alert and service oriented.
As I entered, I was immediately met by a waitress and seated in the booth that I wanted. A menu and a glass of water soon came right after. As more people trickled in for the meeting, each one was met with the same efficiency and courtesy. As the meeting commenced, a request for the table to be cleared and cleaned was done straight away.
Consequent meetings held there proved that the excellent service was not a fluke but the norm. However, I was floored when a meeting held in its exteriors before the opening hours was accommodated even before the kitchen was ready. Although only the drinks were available, I was amazed that we were given anything at all.
Thankfully, Mr. Alvin Trono, Stages Production Specialists, Inc. VP, knew that the owner of Embassy Cafe at The Fort was Mr. Tim Yap and had his mobile number, so we were able to convey our observation, and gratitude as well. Mr. Yap graciously acknowledged our sentiments and replied that the staff members always try their best.
