My friend and i had a hire car for the day and found the zoo quite easily. The hire car took a little bit of a beating on the final dirt road section though which was wet and muddy and some big holes. We asked the hotel to hose the car down at the end of the day so hope the hire company will never know. The zoo has only been open 5 years and already looks a bit tired but was still good to see, but also and more importantly the trip getting there was lots of fun as we also saw a lot of areas, sites and local peoples along the way.
