Peter Pan in Manila 2007 Schedule

Peter Pan will soar his way into Manila audience’s hearts starting 12 January 2007 until 04 February 2007. The two hour and 10 minute show will be staged at the Main Theater of the Cultural Center of the Philippines.

This Peter Pan version is sanctioned by Great Ormond Street Hospital, the recipient of Peter Pan author J.M. Barrie’s generosity when he gave the copyrights to the hospital as a gift.

In keeping with this tradition, the 13 January 2007 2pm show will benefit the Children’s Hour. Moreover, Manila Standard Today reports that “132 members of the Aba’s production team will be donating one hour worth of their salaries to Children’s Hour.”

Aba Productions has previously brought the Peter Pan show to audiences in Hong Kong and Singapore from 2005-2006, but will make Manila its first stop in 2007.

A Filipino based in Hongkong, Amuer Calderon, has been tapped by the Peter Pan production to be its musical director and composer, as well as its battle scene choreographer.
