Globe has made it convenient for its subscribers to continue the UNLIMITXT service by sending a reminder 6 hours before the service is terminated, “Meron ka na lamang 6 na oras pra mgamit ang Globe UNLIMITXT. Kung nais mong mag-register muli pra patuloy na mkapag-unlimited texting, reply YES. No need to reply kung di mo na nais i-extend ang service.”

Once you send YES to 2870, you will receive the following SMS:

First SMS Thank you. Natanggap na nmin ang iyong request at ksalukuyang pino-proseso. Sa loob ng 24 hrs, hintayin ang msg na nagsasabing maari nang gamitin ang UNLIMITXT.

Second SMS Nai-charge na ang P15 sa iyong account. Mag-enjoy ka sa unlimited Globe-Globe texting for 1 day/s!

Third SMS U can now use the Globe UNLIMITXT service! Enjoy unlimited Globe-Globe TEXTS for 1 day(s)! Hbang ksali sa service, ang iyong FREE TEXTS ay maaari pa rng gamitin pra sa text mo sa ibang network. Pls maintain P1 sa iyong accnt upang patuloy na makapag-UNLIMITED TEXTS.

If you notice, the second SMS is the only one that deviates from the usual series of SMS that one receives for the UNLIMITXT service. The main advantage of the reminder and the consequent reply of YES is that there is no disruption of the unlimitxt service in terms of time.

Remember, there is a limited number of requests that can be accommodated per hour, so if you choose to discontinue the service by not replying YES, there will be likely a delay when you do send anew the UNLIMITXT service request.
