The Official Winx Club Birthday Party Program

Winx BackdropI had the privilege of hosting an official (i.e. licensed) Winx birthday party last 29 April 2006, and I wanted to share a glimpse of what you can expect.

Having hosted for about 15 years, initially, I wasn’t that interested to host the Winx party since I’m semi-retired. What attracted me to do it, aside from working with the Winx staff, was the fact that it promised to be different from the usual party program. Not that there’s anything wrong with games and such, but I wanted a change of pace.

The main difference of the first half of the program from the regular party shop is that it’s based on activities. The guests are divided into groups, and just like in the Amazing Race TV program, are given tasks that they must complete. Unlike the Amazing Race, however, the tasks are child friendly and do not risk life or limb.

The teams have fun as they get to dress up a Mom as a fairy and take a picture of her, have cheek art done at the face painting booth, put a jigsaw puzzle together, and others. The first team to finish will get the extra special prizes.
