Additional Globe UNLIMITXT SMS Notices
An incorrecly sent SMS balance request to 2870 generated this SMS: “I-text ang: UNLIMITXT para sa impomasyon tungkol sa unlimited txtx; STATUS para makita ang iyong status; STOP para matanggal sa promo. Send all keywords to 2870.”
This was a blessing in disguise because at that time I’ve been waiting for hours for the SMS activation notices from Globe. So I texted STATUS to 2870, and got this reply, “Natanggap na nmin ang iyong request at ksalukuyang pino-proseso.”
A few moments later I received this SMS, “Sorry, hindi ka registered sa Globe UNLIMITXT service. Para sa impormasyon, text UNLIMITXT to 2870.”
It was such a relief to find out because I was planning to wait 24 hours. At least I was able to send another SMS request for the UNLIMITXT service. After an hour, I sent the STATUS SMS request to 2870 and was informed, “Ang iyong UNLIMITXT request ay ksalukuyang pinoproseso, mkakatanggap ka ng confirmation ng iyong request sa loob ng 24 oras.”
And, if you’re currently using the UNLIMITXT service, Globe will make it more convenient for you to avail of the service further by sending you a SMS reminder, “Meron ka na lamang 6 na oras pra mgamit ang Globe UNLIMITXT. Kung nais mong mag-register muli pra patuloy na mkapag-unlimited texting, reply YES. No need to reply kung di mo na nais i-extend ang service.”
The most important SMS request to remember is obviously STATUS, and just in case you change your mind about that request you sent, then you can text STOP to 2870. However, if you sent it after your balance has already been debited, I’m not sure how you’ll get your credits back.
