What’s Up Last Week #24
Today, 20 March 2006, marks the beginning of the Les Mills launches at the Fitness First branches. The branches to open the launches are Fitness First Ortigas and Fitness First RCBC.
The Fitness First Ortigas branch will have a full launch, meaning all the classes will be featured, namely Body Jam, Body Balance, Body Pump and Body Combat, while Fitness First RCBC will only launch Body Combat and Body Pump. For the full schedule, check out the Fitness First Les Mills Launch — 2nd Quarter 2006 Schedule.
Incidentally, on 27 March 2006, Nike is sponsoring an event for Nike Rockstar. Please watch out for the details on the Fitness First bulletin boards or ask your Nike Rockstar instructor about it.
And, speaking of Fitness First, please remember that you can give feedback to upper management through the Fitness First Hey Manager Card, which I used recently when I found the Fitness First Greenhills’ Reception Staff Rude.
There will be a repeat of the Greetings 2Go SM Baby Co. show, although, it’s going to be a little bit shorter, so make sure you’re at the Lounge of the Podium Mall at 3pm on Saturday 25 March 2006.
Sharon Cuneta herself will be having a repeat of her mega-successful February concert. To have an idea of what to expect, take a glance at the Sharon Cuneta — My Mega Valentine Concert 2006 Highlights.
Honestly, I’ve never seen a single Pinoy Big Brother episode, but I do know that it’s immensely popular. What I do support staunchly though is the concept of reading, so, since I’m currently working with Vibal Publishing, which helped out ABS-CBN to print and promote the books based on the TV series Nginiiig, I wanted to support the Pinoy Big Brother Nginiiig Book Launch because I know it will bring a lot of Pinoy Big Brother fans to the reading fold.
Do check out the pics during the Pinoy Big Brother Nginiiig Book Launch. And, I’d like to apologize to Racquel’s fans because I wasn’t able to catch her solo performance. Consequently, her images are those with Cass, Chx and Bob. I was late because I came from rehearsals.
Another one that I didn’t see at all were the films during the film festival Aktres – A Salute to Women in Philippine Cinema, but I did get a shot of a standee of Vilma Santos as Darna, which I have included belatedly to the post.
And, lastly, may I just state again my bemusement at the fact that a lot of people are interested in the flower kalachuchi, an interest that has made Kalachuchi Flower Trivia one of the Top 5 Posts? And, while we’re on the subject, do remember that kalachuchi can be eaten. For instructions with pictures, do click on the Kalachuchi Flower Salad Recipe.
