Araneta Coliseum February 2006 Schedule

I can’t believe that I was so out of the loop that I totally didn’t know that the Backstreet Boys had a concert here until it was already done. I hope to amend my ignorant state this time around with regards to the events at the Araneta Coliseum, well, at least for February.

A good tip would be to pay more attention to the music that’s being played over the Araneta Coliseum’s outdoor speakers, for they seem to indicate who’s performing. For example, I have been perplexed why I kept hearing Andy Williams’ voice or Sharon Cuneta’s classic “Mr. DJ,” but all became clear when I saw the February schedule.

MYMP…Best The Repeat The Make Your Momma Proud duo will have a repeat of their successful concert on 03 February 2006 at 8pm.

Regine Velasquez Forever After: A Fantaconcierto Uhm… A take off from Drew Barrymore’s Cinderella movie that’s also entitled “Forever After”? This sounds like an exciting concept from Asia’s songbird, who will have two nights for her concerts on 10 and 11 February 2006, also at 8pm.

Sharon Cuneta My Mega Valentine The megastar will follow right after with a concert of her own on 12 February 2006 at 8pm. Special guests include Kuh Ledesma, Christian Bautista and Christopher de Leon.

The Zombies Live in Manila I had to do a bit of research for this group was unknown to me. According to MTV, “Aside from the Beatles and perhaps the Beach Boys, no mid-60s rock group wrote melodies as gorgeous as that of the Zombies,” and they are going to have a pre-Valentine concert on 13 February 2006 at 8pm.

One Romantic Evening with Andy Williams The famous 50s crooner will enthrall audiences with his voice as he holds the place of honor on 14 February 2006 with a concert at 8pm.

WWE Raw Live Tour A total change of pace at the end of the month as wrestling mania takes over on 24 and 25 February 2006 at 4pm and 6pm.
