Sun Daylite Call & Text Unlimited Ads

The new ads of Sun for its Daylite service boast of the following facts (To know more about its features–New Sun Daylite Call and Text Unlimited Service):

No tedious dialing* In my experience with Globe, this is so true with the request for the TXT NONSTOP service. I don’t know why, but there are times when I have to keep on dialing repeatedly to send the SMS request. The worst case was the time when I had to request for it 7 times before I finally got the service. And, there’s a 50-50 chance that you will be wrongly debited, which involves even more dialing because you have to call the hotlines to correct the situation.

No Confusing Registration* With Globe, as I explained in a previous post Globe TXT NONSTOP Promo Warning, there are three steps to access the service, at which any point the whole process can come crashing down to the subscriber’s detriment.

No Minimum Load Balance to Avail of the Service* With both Smart and Globe, most of their promos require at least a P1 balance to avail of the service, which can be quite a bother. With Sun, your balance can be P0, but you can still access the service once you load up.

Simply Load Up and Call & Text Away—making it easy for you right from the start* Sun’s system is simpler because it mimics Globe’s and Smart’s prepaid service systems, wherein the consumer just provides the username/password and it’s immediately activated. As a matter of fact, I’m wondering why Globe and Smart are not using the same systems that they popularized in the first place, and, which most of their subscribers are already familiar with, making the whole process faster and less brain taxing.

While other networks offer low per minute, our per day rate is lower at P8.33/day* Globe’s current offer of a 3-minute call at P10 is a good deal based on their previous rate, but, if you divide the P100 Sun Daylite fee by 12 days, the resulting amount is only P8.33/day, an amount that is unmatched by any Globe or Smart promo at the moment.

In giving you what you want, there’s no stopping us. Unlimited is Sun.* This is quite a strong statement to make, but one that I’m very happy they’re making because it means they’re ready to dig in and slug it out with Globe and Smart, who will then be forced to come up with better deals to counteract the products and services that Sun is offering its subscribers.
