New Sun Daylite Call and Text Unlimited Service

And here I was wondering how Sun will react to all the new Smart and Globe promos. Kudos to the Sun brand management team because they seem to be always one step ahead in the telecommunications battlefield.

In a move designed to attract a new market, Sun is now offering the new Sun Daylite Call and Text Unlimited. At P100, it allows you to send unlimited SMS Sun to Sun, and to make unlimited calls for 18 hours (12:00midnight to 6PM) for 12 days.

I will be highlighting some of the more exciting features of this new product, but for more detailed info, please check out the link at the end of this post.

So aside from the 18-hour unlimited calls and the 24-hour unlimited SMS, the wonderful news is that calls from 6:01 PM to 11:59 PM will only cost P1.00/minute for local Sun-to-Sun. The Daylite service may be obtained via Physical Call Card, E-Pins, Purchase via Text or via The Mall.

Once you have loaded the Daylite service, you will receive two SMS, one to inform you of your updated balance, while the second will tell you the expiration date of your service. Make sure to receive these SMS because they will indicate the service activation.

You may also check your status by sending VALIDITY to 221 free of charge. Moreover, you will also receive a reminder regarding your status one day before the expiry date of the Daylite service.

Under the assumption that your calls can be done from 12mn to 6:00pm, this is a better deal than Sun’s P100 24/7 unlimited call/text service for 7 days, since the Daylite service is for 12 days, an additional 5 days of service at the same price of P100.

This new promo makes me want to run out and buy a Daylite card at the nearest Sun shop.
