Therefore, in order to ensure that we all benefit, I exhort all Globe and Smart consumers to support Sun. I am not saying to let go of your Globe or Smart number. Just make sure that you support Sun sales in some way. Here are some of my suggestions:

1. Buy a Sun product regularly. The lowest priced Sun product, I think, is the P20 unlimited text card for 2 days. By doing this, you will help in ultimately increasing Sun sales. And then pass on the card to somebody with a Sun mobile number. You will have the added bonus of that person thinking you’re a very generous individual.

2. Buy a Sun Sim. Under the assumption that your mobile is an open line and that you know some people with Sun numbers, buying a new Sun Sim will mean you get to enjoy the 24/7 unlimited text/call service for 7 days. Then just regularly load to keep the Sim from being deactivated. Once again, this will help Sun sales and you will directly receive the benefits of the product that you just purchased.

3. Form a network of Sun buddy or buddies. To get the most of Sun’s services, first get at least one other person, whom you have regular mobile contact with, to buy a Sun Sim along with you. I know of three couples who got Sun prepaid mobile numbers to help keep the flame of love alive, and various people from different groups of barkada, all of whom has a Sun number aside from their Globe or Smart.

What they did was to buy a cheap phone that’s just good enough for calling and texting, and they used it to hold their Sun number. Then their Globe or Smart phone is the more high tech model, and which they used for their more urgent type of calls.

Don’t worry, you’ll easily recoup your investment within a couple of months, especially if you’re the type of person who regularly gabs on the phone or regularly calls somebody just for short periods of time, like my friend and I decided to buy Sun Sims, initially, because we realized we were wasting our Globe and Smart credits just to find out where the other person was. And then, from that one person, I got to work with other people with Sun numbers, so it became really worthwhile to have a Sun number.
