Chuckles — The Perfume Detective
My friend, a pre-school teacher, performed as a clown on weekends, wearing the traditional heavy white make-up that completely concealed her face. One time, one of her young students was a visitor in the park that she worked in. Completely confident with her anonymity, she proceeded to entertain the children.
After her act, her pre-school student suddenly called her by her real name. Surprised, she tried to mislead him into thinking that he mistook her for somebody else.
Silently, he pondered for a moment before declaring emphatically, “It is you! You smell just like her!”
It seemed that using the same perfume both in and out of school had revealed her secret identity.
