Harry Potter Trivia Contest

Last July 9, 2005, the elimination rounds for the Harry Potter Trivia Contest were held at 3pm in three Powerbooks branches- Alabang, Greenbelt and Megamall. The first 15 participants to have 15 correct answers were the finalists.

So under the assumption there will be more than 15 participants in each branch, and under the assumption that 15 participants will actually total the requisite number of points, and under the assumption that all the finalists will attend the finals on July 16, 2005 at the Glorietta Activity Center, there should be 45 finalists who will be notified during the week.

For those who were not able to go or too chicken to join, like me, how about we answer the trivia questions below? These were the exact same questions that were asked during the elimination rounds, which turned out to be a quiet affair because the participants were asked to write down their answers. I asked for a copy of the questions from the Powerbooks marketing associate, Laureen Tecson, who was kind enough to give me a copy.

Aside from being fun, it should be a good mental warm-up for the sixth Harry Potter book-Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.
