Chuckles — The Dog Driver

A visiting Australian nun, planning to get to know Metro Manila and its inhabitants a little bit better, decided to take a leisurely walk. Strolling slowly on the sidewalk, she gazed idly at the vehicles passing by, when she was halted in her tracks by the sight of a dog driving a car!

Aghast, she was flustered for a moment before remembering that, unlike Australian drivers, Filipino drivers steer on the right side of the street, i.e. the drivers’ seats are on the left side. Since she was used to drivers being seated on the right side of the car, what she initially thought was a dog driver was actually a canine passenger on the front seat.
