D.E.B.S. — Movie Surprise

Replace Juliet’s mom with an agent whose English is heavily laden with a French accent, add a chain smoking habit and the predilection of sneaking in men to her bedroom when she’s not supposed to and you have Dominique—played by petite supermodel Devon Aoki

Replace doublet and hose with the male schoolgirl fantasy of white blouses, short plaid skirts, knee high socks (or none), and finish it off with heels or sensible shoes. And replace the swords with kick-ass silver guns designed to pulverize the enemy.

Oh, and replace Romeo’s gender to female, with a look that’s reminiscent of Demi Moore in Charlie’s Angels, team that up with a blonde Juliet and the males watching this movie have the added bonus of girl on girl action, and adds an unexpected twist that keeps you glued to the screen to find out how the star crossed lovers are going to end up.

This “low tech spy movie” was written, directed and edited by first time feature film director, Angela Robinson, who also happens to be a graduate of the prestigious NYU (New York University), and you have a semblance of an idea why this tongue in cheek modern Romeo and Juliet is naughtily brilliant. D.E.B.S. can be caught on VCD or DVD.
